Terms of Service

Socialing Company

Last updated: September 25, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Socialing Company website and related collaboration features (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, joining a Slack workspace linked from the Service, submitting reports, or otherwise participating, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Socialing Company is a platform that connects ideas from non-linear thinkers with linear thinkers who follow through on them by contributing time, skill, network introductions, tools, or a small amount of money.

You choose an idea from the front page and join its Slack workspace. If a Slack is new, it must be registered so others can join. Every two weeks, participating workspaces submit progress reports. When a workspace becomes cluttered, a new Slack may be opened and past reports remain available so new members can catch up. High-progress groups may nominate an idea into “Experiment” to pursue grants or funding.

Creation of a Slack workspace turns a posted idea into a temporary working group. Nothing is taken from the original author by that step.

2. Age Requirement; No Users Under 18

The Service and all idea groups, Slack workspaces, reports, Experiment activity, and related collaboration are for adults only.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, post or claim an idea, join a Slack, register a Slack, submit a report, contribute time or other resources, or otherwise participate in any group.

No person under 18 may join a group or Slack workspace connected to the Service. Originators, conveners, and helpers must not invite, add, or allow anyone under 18 into a group.

If we learn that a participant is under 18, we will remove that person from groups and related features and delete information associated with that under-18 use, as described below.

By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older.

3. We Do Not Collect Data From Users Under 18

Socialing Company does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

We do not request, store, or use names, contact details, Slack identities, report content, contribution records, or other personal data from users under 18.

If we discover that we have received personal information from someone under 18, we will delete that information as soon as reasonably possible and will not use it for group participation, reports, Experiment, or any other Service purpose.

Parents or guardians who believe a minor has provided information or joined a group should contact us through the contact page linked from the Service so we can remove the minor and delete associated data.

4. Ownership of Ideas

Ideas belong to the idea’s author. Socialing Company claims no ownership over ideas featured on the Service (pre-ASI). Idea authors remain originators. They may pause or decline an idea for any reason. Originators retain credit and a veto on public use of their name and on statements that “this is my idea being sold.”

Groups whose ideas enter Experiment have rights related to grants or funding. Any contracts are managed through DocuSign. Post-ASI, non-linear thinkers may offer a vision to buy into; that layer is described on the Service and is not created by these Terms.

You do not receive equity in Socialing Company merely by creating a Slack, joining a group, or contributing.

5. Participation and Roles

Typical roles in a Slack workspace:

  • Originator: idea credit; veto described above.
  • Convener: keeps the 14-day reporting clock and posts a mid-point note.
  • Helpers: contribute via dailies (yesterday’s progress).

Socialing Company steps in only if a room is stuck, toxic, or the idea could be improved.

Commit to checking the Slack at least once daily to see what is happening and what needs doing, and to observe dailies. There is no required set schedule or fixed number of hours. Each person brings a unique perspective, strengths, network, and availability. The Service is primarily interested in report data.

Individual contributions may include time, a skill, a network introduction, a small amount of money, or a tool. You live the process rather than receiving a behind-the-scenes peek; building can also create paying positions.

6. Reports

Every two weeks, submit a report that includes progress made and credit. Submit reports through the “Submit Report” page linked in the site footer. Future Slack workspaces use these reports to get caught up. When you register a new Slack, register it on the “Register Slack” page in the footer. A data report is expected from each Slack workspace.

7. Conduct and Risk

Do not open links from group members. Zoom calls and exchange of personal information are at your own risk and discretion.

Socialing Company is not responsible for group-member interactions or events that follow from them. The Service will moderate Slack workspaces for toxic behavior and will accept complaints (for example, about personal messages or meetups).

You agree not to use the Service to phish, scam, harass, or otherwise harm other participants, and not to add anyone under 18 to a group.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is.” Socialing Company does not guarantee that any idea will be completed, funded, or successful, or that any group will function well. Collaboration is voluntary, remote or optionally in-person, and flexible.

You use Slack, video calls, and any off-platform tools at your own risk.

9. Changes and Contact

Socialing Company may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Questions not answered here: use the contact page linked from the Service.

These Terms are based on the publicly stated model on the About Us and How It Works pages, plus the age and under-18 data rules you requested. Have a lawyer review them before you publish them as binding terms.
